its a love hate relationship, I think we need trees and such, but sometimes its just a pain in the ass.

I just got a call from my wife, saying there is a tick stuck to one of my daughters. From the semi-coherent description I received in the chaos, its a larger tick which pretty much rules out Lyme disease, which I can tell you sucks pretty bad. apparently this is the only resolution:

Oh yeah. Ticks aren’t even that bad IMHO....bed bugs are pretty much god’s pox upon man as are yellowjackets and rockfish. Rockfish are especially egregious.

well ticks with lyme disease are pretty bad. but that aside I think they are pretty harmless. havnt had bedbugs but dont really care to do a comparison test. yellow jackets can burn in hell. Whats up with rockfish? Never encountered one.

I meant stone fish, rock fish is a totally harmless fish. A stone fish is just that... A fish that looks exactly like a stone. It lives in Australia, and if you step on this rock looking like fish and it stings you, then you must seek help immediately it is amongst the most venemous fish in the world and can kill even a full grown man if not treated immediately.

No. I mean stone fish. Although silver fish are also disgusting. House centipedes take car of them also. Even though house centipedes are gross in their own rights.

Yeah, I’ve got a limit on the number of legs I allow the things in my house to have. We will not be having any centipedes of any kind in the house.

Yes, but house centipedes can’t bite and eat bed bugs, silver fish, ants, termites and cockroaches. So that’s pretty useful, despite their disgusting looks.

we called the doctor and they said theres not much they would do and that it will fall out with time and to just monitor the area. the poor kid just got over an ear infection and strep throat too.
